TPT Sale

I apologize hosting a sale on TPT to celebrate 100K followers so late on the last day of the sale!  I was busy running the Chicago Marathon today! It was perfect weather (in the 60's) and sunny. And, I managed to beat my goal by 33 seconds! I finished in 4:59:27.

Visit my TPT store for 10% off and enter the coupon code FB100K to get an additional 10% off.

(Thank you to Kinder Doodles for making this cute sale graphic!)

Fall Phonics I Have Who Has? Freebie

We are almost through the Jolly Phonics program. The kids absolutely love learning a new sound each day. It is amazing to watch them sound words out and use the motions learned from Jolly Phonics in their writing.  I thought a fun way to practice our letter sounds would be to play I Have Who Has?

I really like playing I Have Who Has? even though it takes a long time to get through the cards with 28 kiddos.  I hope that the more we play, the better and quicker we will get. I know my class will enjoy the Halloween themed cards. They are Halloween crazy already- and it's only the 8th of October!

October Linky Parties

Sunday is becoming my usual blogging day. The weekend passes so quickly and it's Sunday before I know it! I'm linking up with Doodlebugs Teaching and Oh Boy 4th Grade for my two favorite linky parties this morning.

It took a loooong time (our whole literacy block!) to make this cute apple craftivity by Mrs. Jump, but the kids really enjoyed it!  They were amazed how the little basket of paper squares and rectangles became apples! The favorite part of the craft was making the apple core. They were amazed by tearing the white paper to look like bite marks.

I am really excited about my new word wall. I like that the words are lower and easier for the class to see. I used to have the words above each letter of my alphabet.

Isabella and I were in a friend's wedding yesterday. She did such a great job! She was so excited to wear her flower girl dress, aka the pickle dress. Months ago when we went to David's Bridal to pick out our dresses, she thought that I had said we are getting Pickle Dresses!

Everything was pink at the wedding! The bride even wore a pale pink gown!  I am in love with the cake!  It was delicious, too! Layers of white cake with lemon filling and chocolate sour cream cake with chocolate mousse. Yum!
There was a photo booth! We had so much fun! Isabella probably could have stayed all evening in it, taking pictures. They printed pictures for us and attached one copy into a guest book for us to sign. I thought that was so creative!  It'll be fun for Melissa and Jason to go through the guest/photo book to see all of our goofy poses!

My treat to you is putting three items on sale. Click on the images below.
